DESCRIPTION

Patrol Rifles are the most effective tool the law enforcement officer has with which to stop a determined threat to public safety. Rifle-equipped officers are much less likely to miss their target and send errant rounds towards innocent bystanders. A comprehensive patrol rifle training program and policy is one of the best ways to reduce liability during deadly force encounters. Ridgeline’s Patrol Rifle Instructor Course is designed primarily for agency firearms instructors who need to build or improve their training programs, but it is also suitable for officers who want to vastly increase their firearms proficiency.

PREREQUISITE / NEXT COURSE:

Students must be ACTIVE Law Enforcement Officer, Military Personnel, or credentialed Government Contractor, and have successfully passed a Patrol Rifle Course. Students should be a certified firearms instructor.

This is the second class I have signed up for. I travel 1600 miles round trip to come to Ridgeline and that should tell you everything you need to know about how I feel about the value and experience of training here.

The Mid Range Carbine class I took at Ridgeline was the most fun, and I think the most beneficial class I have ever taken.

In addition to what we did in the class, I left with a great base of things to work on. Can’t wait to get back to Ridgeline again soon!

I wish I had taken this class when I was a newer shooter so I didn’t have to unlearn so many bad habits. I would recommend the classes here to anyone!
