DESCRIPTION

There is an ADDITIONAL range fee of $40/day =$80 for the weekend.
Advanced Precision Rifle begins where Precision Rifle ends. This course exposes shooters to wind reading techniques and shooting from alternate positions. Students who complete this course will be able to hold groups 2 MOA or smaller from positions other than prone and engage targets to 600 yards with a hit rate of 80% or higher.
Students will progressively be introduced to subjects such as cold bore theory, precision speed shooting and alternate positions. Students will engage targets utilizing paper and steel arrays from 100-600 yards including moving targets. Shooters will be challenged to find, range, and engage multiple targets from varying positions while still performing fundamental tasks at a high level of competence.

PREREQUISITE / NEXT COURSE:
Prerequisite: in order to take advanced precision rifle, you must have completed Precision Rifle, or known industry equivalent (Modern Day Sniper, Veracity Solutions, Bruiser industries, ect.) This is a Skills Enhancement course. Ridgeline skills enhancement courses have been designed to place shooters in new positions, challenge durability of position and fundamentals, and improve speed and marksmanship. These courses provide less step by step instruction on basic skills with a higher emphasis on coaching to push boundaries and overcome obstacles so the student may achieve new levels of performance. This is not an entry level course. Familiarization with your specific rifle and scope are expected. Some core understanding of zeroing and fundamentals of marksmanship should be held by the student. General safe firearms handling is expected of all students.
