Kestrel 5700 Elite Weather Meter With Applied Ballistics and LiNK

Long-range shooting depends on conditions that keep changing. The Kestrel 5700 Elite puts a weather station and a full ballistic solver in one handheld unit. It measures wind speed, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and density altitude on the spot. Those readings go straight into the onboard Applied Ballistics Elite solver, so your firing solution matches the conditions you’re actually shooting in.

The Elite package goes well beyond a basic drop chart. It supports Applied Ballistics Custom Drag Models and accounts for spin drift, Coriolis effect, and aerodynamic jump. Weapon Employment Zone (WEZ) analysis estimates your hit probability on a given target. Truing tools let you calibrate the solver to your rifle’s real-world performance. You can store multiple rifle and target profiles and switch between them in the field.

LiNK Bluetooth connectivity pairs the 5700 with the Kestrel LiNK Ballistics app and other compatible devices. That makes it easier to build profiles, transfer data, and manage range sessions from your phone.

Kestrel Meters, part of Nielsen-Kellerman, builds handheld weather and environmental meters in the United States at its Boothwyn, Pennsylvania facility. Long-range shooters, hunters, military units, wildland firefighters and outdoor professionals rely on Kestrel portable weather stations for wind, temperature, humidity, pressure, and density altitude readings.
