Ridgeline Defense | What's New for 2027

Oct 16th 2026

MORE TIME BEHIND THE GLASS. MORE REPS. HIGHER STANDARDS.

Eleven years. Thousands of hours on the range. Countless lessons learned. One relentless pursuit: raising the standard of training.

As Ridgeline Defense enters its 11th year training military professionals, law enforcement personnel, and dedicated civilian shooters, we're taking the next step in the evolution of our training programs.

Over the past decade, we've learned a great deal about what separates good shooters from exceptional ones. We've seen firsthand where students make breakthroughs, where they struggle, and what it takes to develop lasting, repeatable performance.

We've also listened to you.

We recognize the investment you make in your training—not just financially, but in time away from work, travel, and preparation. Our responsibility is to make every hour on the range count.

That's why 2027 brings some of the most significant improvements to our training calendar yet.

MORE INSTRUCTION. MORE REPETITIONS. MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO PERFORM

Our flagship Precision Rifle and Scoped Carbine programs are expanding from two-day courses to comprehensive five-day training experiences.

Why? Because meaningful improvement takes more than exposure to new techniques. It takes repetition, feedback, refinement, and the opportunity to apply those skills until they become consistent and repeatable.

With 40 hours of instruction instead of 16, students will have significantly more time to develop fundamentals, work through increasingly demanding applications, and receive individualized coaching from our instructor cadre.

That's 150% more instructor-led training in each course.

Whether you're training at our White Mountains Training Center (WMTC) in New Hampshire or our Gulf Coast Training Center (GCTC) in Florida, the mission remains the same: develop more capable, more confident, and more consistent shooters.

TRAIN SMARTER. STAY LONGER. GET MORE OUT OF THE TRIP.

We know getting to the range isn't always easy, especially when you're traveling across the country to train with us.

For 2027, we've restructured our calendar to make it easier to maximize your time.

Many of our two-day courses will now run consecutively, allowing students to build a multi-course training week without making multiple trips.

For example, complete C200 Baseline Carbine, then roll directly into C300 Performance Carbine over the following two days.

Four days. Two courses. One trip.

It's a more efficient way to progress through our curriculum, build on newly developed skills, and get the most out of your investment.

NEW FOR 2027: PR100 ON-RAMP PRECISION RIFLE

Every great precision shooter starts with a strong foundation.

One of the most consistent requests we've received is for a dedicated course focused on the fundamentals of precision rifle shooting.

We're answering that request with PR100: On-Ramp Precision Rifle, an all-new two-day course designed to establish the skills and knowledge necessary for success in our advanced training programs.

From mounting and understanding magnified optics to establishing a reliable zero, and developing sound precision marksmanship fundamentals, PR100 is designed to build confidence and competence from the ground up.

Whether you're new to precision rifles, transitioning from another shooting discipline, or looking to reinforce your fundamentals before attending one of our five-day programs, PR100 is your starting point.

2027: THE NEXT EVOLUTION OF RIDGELINE DEFENSE

These changes represent more than an expanded calendar. They're part of a broader commitment to continually improve how we train, how we teach, and ultimately, how our students perform.

Our instructors bring decades of operational experience, competitive success, and professional instruction to the range. But experience alone isn't enough. We believe the best training programs must continually evolve, challenge conventional thinking, and measure success by the performance of their students.

That's the standard we've pursued for the past decade, and it's the standard we'll continue pushing in 2027 and beyond.

More time behind the glass. More purposeful repetitions. MORE PERFORMANCE GAINED.

The 2027 training calendar is now live.
