DESCRIPTION
With the criticism facing police agencies today, there is no room for inaccurate gunfire or unsafe handling practices. Officers must be able to rapidly neutralize legitimate threats to public safety without endangering other officers and innocent bystanders. Ridgelines LE Counter Ambush course better prepares officers for the worst-case scenario. This course outlines an automated process to combat sudden enemy gunfire, have a better understanding of how to utilize any given cover around themselves and to be able to neutralize or escape the immediate threat.

PREREQUISITE / NEXT COURSE:
Participants must meet the following criteria prior to attending:
Certified Law Enforcement Officer in good standing
Proficient in pistol and rifle manipulations including:
- Safe Handling
- Reloads (Emergency and Tactical)
- Malfunction Clearance
- Platform Transitions (rifle to pistol and vice versa)
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, team-based exercise
Students must be ACTIVE Law Enforcement Officer, Military Personnel or credentialed Government Contractor.
